Gosling, Levitt, Skarsgard To Cry "U.N.C.L.E."?

"Drive" star Ryan Gosling, "Inception" actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and "True Blood" regular Alexander Skarsgård are all in contention for one of the lead roles in Steven Soderbergh's cinematic reboot of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." at Warner Bros. Pictures says The Wrap.

The original 60's show and the upcoming film follows the exploits of two secret agents, American Napoleon Solo and Russian Ilya Kuryakin who work for a fictitious secret international espionage and law-enforcement agency called U.N.C.L.E.

All three actors are amongst a group of twenty up for the role of Kuryakin, which Scottish actor David McCallum played in the original. The role of Napoleon was previously linked to George Clooney but that's no longer the case.

David Dobkin, Jeff Kleeman and John Davis are producing the film which will be set in the 60's and will be an "action-comedy with a tone like 'Lethal Weapon'"
